The New Zealand Fruit and Produce Company, Limited, report as follows: Prices for fruit koep fairly steady. Peaches have boon arriving freely aiid prices have declined slightly, this also applies to dessert apples. Nectarines plums, and cooking apples are in good demand. Vegetables, esoccially cauliflower of good colour, are in good request. Poas and French beans have eased in price. The following prices give a fair indication of the state of the market:—

Oranges, Island, 7s to 10s per case • lemons, Messina, 15s; pears, W.8.C., 7s to Bs, cooking 5s to 6s; passions, 7s 6s par box;"bananas, 10s to 12s per case; peaches, cooking 2s Gd to 3s 6d per half case, dessert 4s 6d to 5s 6d; plums, red 3s Gd to 3s 9d; yellow 2s Gd to 3s 9d; nectarines, 6s to 6s lOd; Cape gooseberries, 4,} dto 5Jd per lb; apples, Cox's Orange 6s 9d to Ss per ease, others 6s to 7s Gd, cooking 4s Gd to 5s 3d.

Potatoes, 5s to 6s per cwt; onions, 4s 6d to ss; cabbage, 2s Gd to 4s per sack ; carrots, 3s Gd to 5s ; cauliflower, 9s to lls; turnips, 3s to 4s 6d; peas (12 peeks) 7s to 13s; rhubarb, 2s doz; "beans, broad 1-Jd per lb, French 4s to 5s per sack ; lettuce, 2s 6d to 4s 6d per ease; celery, Is 6d to 2s 6d per doz; cucumbers, 3s Cd to 5s per easo; tomatoes, Is 8d to 2s 4d per half ease ; persimmons, Gs to 6s Gd per case. Chaff, £5 to £5 15s per ton ; oats (A grade Gortons), 2s 7d to 2s 8d per bushel bran, £5 por ton; straw, 2s to 2s 3d per bale; pollard, £6 per ton; wheat, 3s. 8d to 4s 3d per bushel; lice, 7s per mat (561bs); peanuts, iils to 23s per sack.
