[United Pbess Assqciation.J. Westport, March 7. The nautical inquiry into tho stranding of tho Zingara at Karamea on January 12th was resumed to-day, when evidence was given by Captain Kemp, thle harbour-master, and others in regard to the relative position of the Mangapapa and Zingara signals, and the state of the weather during' the towing operations. Captain Kiemp considered that a mistake had- been made by Captain Fletcher on the Mangapapa in not keeping 9/ straight course to the. northward, instead of turning, as he did, sharply to southvard, but added that Captain Fletcher was in the best position, to judge whether he was in such danger as tp justify his cutting the tow rope. After addresses had been heard from counsel on behalf of the masters of both vessels, and also on behalf of the har-bour-master, the Court reserved '"dgment. which will be delivered in the inonijng,
