Admiral Henderson's report urges the expenditure of £3,000,000, a large proportion on an adequate naval dock. . . The Federal Executive have issued a regulation reducing the retiring ago of colonels to SS; lieutenant-colonels to 55 ; and captains to 50. Great indignation is expressed in military circles.
The Minister of Defence indicates that in the next estimates provision will be made for aviation corps.
