AUSTRALIANS AS STATE GOVERNORS.
MOVEMENT TN NEW SOUTH WALKS.
(Received March 6, 9.20 p.m.) Sydney, March G.
A deputation from the Australian Natives' Association urfed upon Mr Carniiohaol tho claims of distinguished Australians to hold the ofneo of State Governor. Mr Carmichael fully sympathised with the idea that nothing in Australia was too good for Australians. There was a possibility of the spheres of tho State and Federal Governments brjng remodelled, and probably one of tho nroblems of considerable urgency which would arise would be tho. abolition of the position of fstate Governor. It would probably receive tho support of himself and his party.
