Christchurch, March G. At the Methodist Conference to-day, -Messrs J. R. Reache, L. R. Neale, and W. Kowe wore rcocivod on probation, and Messrs It. K. Blackmpre, H. J. Marshall, and S. J. W<'rran were appointed to circuits as probationers for one year.
A telegram was leecived .stating that the Victorian Conference had deftati: d a motion to refer the New Zealand separation question to the quarterly meetings and that Now Zealand's separation had been unanimously approved. The Conference decided to adopt the present rules regarding supernumerary and other funds, the present rates of contributions and allowances to b;> continued for five years, subject to any alteration made at the next General Conference, ar.d the result of the valuation tf> be made in 15)12. The balance sheet of the New Zetland superannuation fund showed tire circuit contribution £1530; and Ministers £1002 ( In the third draft of the Stationing Committee the following !ocal appointment.'! have ber'ii made:— Nelson district: Nelson, Revs. J.
