Last week, at. Otaki, a dairy farmer named Seraneke allowed his cows to wander into a clover padodck, and Jater Jie found that thirteen were dead. He attributes the cans:* to overfeeding on clover, followed by the drinking of waiter. Recently Mk Sera.ncke lost five others, and, it is now thought the death of three occurred in a similar manner. The Government veterinarian is to be asked to furnish a report on the matter.
