Palir.erston North, Feb. IG. The .Minister of Education opened tlie new High School this afternoon. 'Die school was built to replace the High School burnt by Powelka. This very fine brick building is to accommodate 220 students Mr Fowlda took occasion, to reply to the Opposition press, which, he said, misrepresented his remarks at Levin re tlio effect of wool classing classes. Ho quoted a letter from Messrs Levin and Co., Wellington, to the local technical school, saying that wool classed by its students had gained increased prices at the London sales.
