The gold was valued => at £802,211, a decrease of £67,335. 1 Coal was worth £3,900,656, an increase i of £391,160. Silver, lead, and zinc in--3 creased £518,000 ; copper,£6l,ooo ; tin y over £17,000. Tho number of persons - engaged in mining was 37,413, an increase of £1,008.
