.SATURDAY'S SPORTS.
The Nelson Amateur Swimming Club -ivill hold their annual sports at the Port on Saturday nest, commencing at 2.30 p.m. The programme drawn up is a very fine- one, and will provide a splendid afternoon's sport, as recoid entries .have been received for all events. The 100 yds scratch race has attracted seven entries, and should be very keenly contested. Other or/cnts of special. interest ar» the All Schools championship, Hying squadron, and assault at arms. The polo championship this year will befought out between Old Boys and the' .Nelson Swimming Club, and as both teams are training Jiard it should be a very keen contest.
