A man well over 80 years of a^' was charged at Napier with being an kilo and disorderly person, in other words with being homeless. He refused to go to the Old Main's Home, which he declared was not a homo, "but a. pa.ndemonikim." IJe was sentouccd to three months' imprisonment. Asked where he resided thei renly was: "In gaol; as soon as I come out I am arrested and sent back."
