NEW SOUTH WALES LABOUR LEGISLATION.

The Minister of Education states that all existing industrial legislation will be repealed and replaced by one comprehensive measure. Wagos Boards will he maintained, but they will he auxiliary to the Arbitration Court. In the case of well defined trades wages fixed outside the rate will be enforced in Government establishments. The Government will frame a new Bill for the settlement of disputes as nearly perfect as possible. It is proposed to give tho Arbitration Court power to do anything it chooses io settlo disputes. If one court be unable to cope with tha work others will be appointed. The new measure will reorganise the schedule so as to include every possible trade. The Coercion Act will bet wiped out.
