IMPERIAL FEDERATION.
LORD BRASSEY'S ANTICIPATIONS [Puss Association — CorauaiiT.] (Received August 18, 11.20 p.m.) London, August 18. The "Daily Mail's'" Montreal correspondent reports that Lord Brassey, speaking at a luncheon, predicted a change in the Government of Great Britain, to be followed by an Imperial Conference, at . which tariff reform would be discussed. Mr Balfour would call upon the leading men of the Dominions to form part of an Imperial Parliament, and the British Navy would be maintained at the two-Power standard. The. overseas reinforcement to tho Navy would prove an immense addition to the Imperial strength. '
