The hoggets were of fair average quality, and included a number of lines of Southdown crosses. The wethers were chiefly in good condition out the ewes were nearly all aged. 1 here was practically no change Values, though the demand for aged ewes was rather better. Forward wethers ,ed halfbreds 12s lOd. Six and eight tooth ewes were passed at 18s lOd, and aged sorts made 7s9d to-lfls Self. There was*a strong demand for all classes, and a good clearance was eftected at prices equal to those of the previous week. A small yarding of inferior store cattle met with a dull sale, poor yearlings making 18s; two year steers £3 15sj two year heifers £3 10s; three yfar heifers £4 10s; and dry cows 30s to £4 ss. ' 'A. large yarding of dairy cows contained a few good animals, and there was a good demand, sales made at £3 10f. to £9 15s. - A medium entry of fat pigs sold at late rates. Choppers brought 50s to 90s, heavy baconers 47s to 535, and lighter 37s to 425, equal to 4tl per lb ; large porkers 34s to 365, and smaller 25s to 31s, equal to 4£d and 43d per lb ; large stores 22s to 28s; smaller 14s to 20s; and weaners 5s 6d to 12s.
