It provides that all male Britishsubjects who have resided in the oJmmonwealth for six months shaU E erve between the> ages of 12 and 14 in the junior cadets, from !*„«>. 1»»° So senior cadets, from 18 to 25 in the eUumi forces. Persons between 28and 26 are required to register or attend A month of parades. j^i„ ra The Governor-General may deckre exempt persons whose religions torMdXnrto bear arms. The following are exempt in time of war: Medicallj unfiV members and officers of parliaments judges, magistrates, police, iTgbthouwklepers, medical men police or prison employees, persons not subetantially of European descent, and mm following any occupation specified by regulation or proclamation. The duration of training each year shaU be as follows: Junior Cadets 120 hours; senior cadets, four full day drills, 22 half day and 24* night drills; citizen, forces. 16 day drills or an equivalent and not fewer than. 8 days in camps for continuous training. In the Naval Artillery and Engineers and in the military forces, the training will be. 25 whole days and 17 days in camps. Sparsely populated districts may be exempted by proclamation. *It W proposed to empower the Gov-ernor-General to establish horse de; note, forms, and stations for breeding of Seventh Day A*dventists asked the Minister for exemption on Saturdays. o Tlie Minister replied that it was a difficult question, but he would give it consideration.
