The practice of removing gravel, for street purposes, front an area over which sewerage has passed is anextremely dungeroiis one, and may cause an outbreak of disease during the summer months.-... Beiference to the death of Mr T. J. Baigent will be made at the monthly meeting of the Nolson Education Board to-day, Messrs L. D. Easton, of Motueka, and W. J. Reilly and H. Page, of Takaka, have been mentioned as candidates for the yacancy on tlio* Board caused by Mr Baigent' a death. ■
