Rason, Agent-General for West Australia ; Sir G. H. Jenkins, Dr Cockburn, Captain Collins (Commonwealth representative), Sir aiontague Nelson, Messrs Finn, M. L. aioss, Nivison, and a representative gathering of bankers, shipowners and merchants. Sir George Reid --resided aud Lord Kitchener met with an enthusiastic reception.
