Wellington, May 27. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast is as follows : — The barometer has fallen everywhere, and moderate 'to strong westerly winds have prevailed, with cloudy weather, and showers in parts. The present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, increasing cloudiness preceding rain in most parts of the country. Freshening westerly and northerly winds will probably prevail, and the weather continue unsettled for two or three days.
