Tho Minister of Customs will bold a searching inquiry with regard to the factories responsible for shipping the butter abont which complaints of bxcessivo moisture were received from London. The aiinister says there is no adequate explanation of climatic or other conditions (which sufficiently .accounts for Australian butter bringing much less in London than New Zealand butter. There must be screws loose somewhere, iand the sooner they are tightened up the bettei*.
