Miss Barry was encored tot her singing of "Two Eyes of Gray.' Quite a star piece was the item m which Bandsman Barrett played a difficult solo, "Senschute," on a double Bb Bass. The sustained l<?g»~ tos and the double stopping were alike 1 rendered with ease, showing that the "monster" wi\s ih the Hand's tif .tiU artist.- Dr Andrew, a viec-president of the band, kindly assisted in the position of chairman. At the close of the conceit the National Anthem was. sung by all standing. A dance followed the concert, at which there were about twenty couples present. The music for tho dance was in the hands of Bandmaster Scott.
