THE MONARCHY AND THE LORDS AN IRISH GATHERING. [Press Association— VorYmGni.} London, May 5. Colonel Seely, U.nder. fouivtary for the colonies, speaking at Hanley on Ihaines, denounced the attempt to link tlie fate of the monarchy with that of the House of Lords, and added that the King had the full support of all parties, creeds and races throughout the Empire. A large gathering of the Redmond section of tiic Nationalist party will be held oil May 22 at Cork. Many farmers belonging tc Mr. O'Brien's following will also visit ihe town, in the "All for Ireland" interest, and special precautions will be taken by the. police to prevent disturbances. The hearing has begun of the election petition against the return of Captain the Hon. F. E. Guest, for East Dorset, an the grounds of bribery, treating and undue influence.
