Owing to the extraordinary increase of hooliganism '^in- Milan; '• -the -■ police have organised armed, patrol bands, and are arresting hundreds nightly. Many are ex-convicts, armed with revolvers and daggers. ' The majority are southerners taking refuge in Milan in consequence of the military campaign against the Camorra in the Neapolitan provinces.
