"PROSECUTION OF "CORNER" PROMOTERS.
' ' London, April 19. The Attorney-General of New. York State is proceeding against Suyne and W. Brown, who were members of Pat: ten's "bull" pool in connection with an agreement to purchase 150,000 bales of cotton for delivery from March to July. The Attorney alleges that the operators are combining to buy all unused cqtton in the American crops for 1909 and 1910. The. proceedings have caused a sensation, as the action is unprecedented.
