THE RAMABAI MUKTI MISSION.

ADDRESS BY MISS McGREGOR.

There was a large 'attendance at the Baptist Church last night, when a lecture on the work of the Mukti Mission for the child widows of India was given by Miss Mc6regor,who is touring the Dominion in the interests of the institution. The chair was occupied by the Rev. Stanley Jenkin, and the meeting was opened by the Rev. J. H. MacKenzie. The, objects of the mission, which was founded in 1889 by Pandita Ramabai, a Brahmin lady, and the good work it has since accomplished were outlined in our issue of Tuesday last. Mißs MoGregor want very fully into the various phases of the Mission's activities, dealing with the subject in a most interesting manner. The lecture was illustrated with admirable lantern views.
