D> U Jate'i summary and forecast:— 'Middle to strong westerly winds We been a. falling tendency, though on the whole littfe movement of .the barometer. The present indications are lor moderate to strong westerly winds with oobl- and changeable, weather generally. The local conditions- are still somewhat threatening in both extremes, and rain is probable on the Westi Coast and southernmost die^ tricts. ■
