ESCAPED PRISONER TAKEN.
[United Pbess Association.] Wanganui, April 18. ■-Ellis, the man who escaped from gaol on Saturday, was captured, by a policeman this morning. The latter was sent on a train north in caso the prisoner might get on at one of the I stations, and when the train was I slowly ascending Brunswick Hill, El-] lis was seen to board it, and was duly arrested. *
