Hawera, April 9. At a meeting of Hawera solicitors this morning it was resolved "That the Hawera iegal practitioners unanimously desire to place on record their distress and indignation with regard to tho action of Mr Wake in addressing the actingMagistrate, Mr Greenfield, at Eltham on Wednesday, and expressing amazement that any member of the profession should be found willing to deliberately and wilfully address in tho terms he was reported to have done one who, in addition to venerable years and invariable courtesy, possessed the confidence of the profession and the public as a just, honourable, and in every sense capable Magistrate."
