London, April 7. A sensation has been caused by an article by Sir Robert Anderson in "Blackwood 1 s Magazine" naively confessing that he, while at tho Home Office, was the author of the articles which appeared in "The Times" in 1887 on'Tarnellism and Crime," the object of which was to discredit Mr Gladstone and the Irish Home Rule cause.
