WEDDING.
A pretty wedding took place oil Tuesday morning at St. -Paul's ProCathedral, \V-M-!itou (says "The Dominion , .. .. - - "ss Gertrude Hcs. tcr Priugie, second daughter or -Mr aud Mrs T. Priugie, was married to Mr Arthur Charles Maginnity, ot Nelson, son of Mr and Mrs Andrew Ma.rinnity. The Rev. T. H. Sprott officiated! The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress ol white chiffon taffatas, with trimming of chantilly lace. The- bodice was braided with white soutache and made with a square lace yoke, finished with embroidery and fiingo of silver and pearls. She wore a coronet of orange blossom and a beautifully-embroidered tulle veil, and slio carried a shower bouquet of white lilies, arbutilons, and maidenhair. Miss Muriel Pringle sister of the bride, and Miss Maud Maginnity, sister of the bridegroom, were her bridesmaids, and they wore frocks of cream striped silk gauze, with bands of silk embroidered lace, and yokes to match. Their pretty hats were ot bronze straw, lined with pale, blue, and trimmed with wreaths of autumn leaves aud bronze chrysanthemums, and they carried bouquets of .blue hydrangea and autumn foliage. Mr James Houlkcr, of Nelson, "was best man, and Mr Erie Sclanders groomsman. Dr Fyffo presided at the organ. Alter the 'wedding a reception was held at the home of the bride's par- • ents, Kohanga, in Grant road. Mrs Pringlo received her guests in a gown . of violet Irish poplin, trimmed with i silk of another shade and bands of i Indian insertion, and witli a yoke of . Connemara lace. With this she wore a large- bat, with plumee and silver ' tissue. Mrs Maginnity (mother of the • bridegroom) wore a, dress of black chif- [ fon taffatas, trimmed- with handsome . lace, and a black hat. Mrs Maunsell (Carterton), sister of the bridegroom, wore a cream costume and floral hat. Among the other guests present wore : Mrs A. Maginnity, Mr and Mrs A. G. Donne, Mr and Mrs Henderson, Mr and Mrs Greic, Miss I. Tingey, Mr i and Mrs R, To it. junr. The bride- ' grooms' s present to the bride was a '. handsome gold bangle, to Miss Pringle a pair of medallion ear-rings set with " pearls, and to Miss Maud Maginnity [ a gold necklet and pendant set with , turouoises and pearls. The bride gave ; tne brideeroom a gold sovereign case. , Tlif bride's travelling dress was a tnilor-mad« of ?.ixe blue, with large '. blue ia.de buttons, nnd with it she w<«rr , a blue Imver hat witli pheasant's : plumage.
