Results : — Flying Handicap: Mindful 1, Miss Correli 2, Brilliant Coy 3, Seventeen starters. __ A good hriish, won by a neck. Time, 1:15_. Champagne StaKes: Desert Rose 1, Bobadea 2, Gigantio 3. There were thirteen starters. Precious made the running well into the straight, where Desert Rose shot but and won by three lengths. Time, 1.15.. Sydney Cu^^Vavasour 1, Daisy Chain 2, Jinlieie 3. The non-starters were Bluebook and Flavinius. Kerlie showed the way to the straight, his nearest attendants being Beauvive, Maltine and Trafalgar. Passing the stand KSrlie led from Beauvivo and Maltine. with Downfall last. Tliere was little change along the back, and Kerlie passed the six furlongs post clear of Beauvive, followed by Blackrange, Olivaster and Maltine. Before reaching the .five furlongs post Kerlie gave place to Blackrange, who had Olivaster as his nearest attendant. Olivaster moved in front at- the half mile, Vavasour being second, and Daisy. Chaui and Maltine handy. Olivaster was first info, the straight from Daisy Chain, Jinnee and Vavasour. Once fairly on the way home, Vavasour came through ahd won by two lengths, a similar distance separating second and third ; then. Didiis, Danilo, Ungarie, Barallan, and Beauvive, while Downfall finished in the ruck. Time,- 3.29... Eirst Steeplechase : Kiatere 1, -Bul-woi-th 2, ; . Kuala Lumpur 3. Tliere seven starters; The _ winner fencing well, held a loading position, throughout, and was first over the last obstacle, 'and landed an easy victory by ten lengths. Time, 5.345. First Nursery: Handicap: Cadonia 1, Motilia 2, Pendulous 3. There were 16 starters, and an exciting finish. Won by half a length. Time, 1.42 J. Tocal Handicap: Safrano 1, Pretty Peg 2, Bawbee 3. Fiftelen started. The placed horses battled in a great finish, a head separating first and secmid. Time, 2.10.
