EXTENSIVE FRAUDS IN PARIS.
A LIQUIDATOR'S ARREST. [Pbess Association— Coptbigut.] . (Received March 9, 11.15 .p.m.). ' Paris, March 9. M. Duez, liquidator of several re- I ligious associations, has been arrested in Paris on a charge of misappropriating £20,000. " I Duez attributes the defalcations to | unlucky speculation on the race I course. The frauds,, were first discovered a year ago, but Duez pleaded that it was necessary for liim to examine 100,000 documents in order to j establish Ms innocence, and thus avoided arrest.
