Sydney, Feb. The population of Sydney and suburbs at the end of last year was 305,900, an increase of 13,800 on the previous- year. The marriages increased by 393, and-,tko births totalled 15,461, the highest on record, the illegitimates numbering 10 per cent. The total deaths numbered 10.26 per .1000 -of the -population, -the. lowest rate on record. \
