OLD AGE PENSIONS.
FRENCH BILL ACCEPTED. - [Press Association — Copyright.] .Paris, Feb 15. The French Chamber of Deputies having twice rejected the Old Ago Pensions Bill because it was crude and ill-considered, a new measure was prepared and unanimously adopted. The Bill is moulded upon Gorman lines, workmen and employees contributing in equal proportions to the pensions, the State adding a further contribution. The age limit is 65. Men contribute 9 francs a year ; women 6 francs; and boys 4J francs.
