BOWLING.
PENNANT MATCH. The fourth pennant match of- the season was played yesterday afternoon, when the Nelson Club was again successful, winning by twentyeigbt points on the aggregate, exactly the same number of points as in the previous match. The winners won on four riuks, tied on one, and lost on on© only. The aggregates on the Nelson green were very close, but the Maitai players went down rather badly on their own green. The scoring of the winning club has been remarkably even in the four matches. In the first match the scores were: Nelson 128,Maitai 115 ; second match, Nelson 128, Maitai 110; third match, Nelson 129, Maitai 101 ; yesterday's match, Nelson 134, Maitai 106. Mrs A. Dee provided" afternoon tea for the players on the Maitai green. The scores and players were as follows, tho names of the Nelson team being first in each rink : — NELSON GREEN.
