"LA MILO" IN TROUBLE. [Phess Association — CopyniGiiT.J London, Feb 7. La Milo, a music hall performer, Ferdinand Eggena, her husband, and Percy Easton, a motorcar agent, were charged at Bow Street with obtaining £7000 worth of jewels by false pretences from W. Hood, jeweller, Brook street,. London. It is alleged that Eggena represented himself as the owner of 25 cars, and obtained jewels and afterwards pawned. then on La Milo's behalf. Eggena had previously attempted to pawn a pearl necklace worth £30,000. Tiie prisouers were remanded. Eggena was allowed bail in £2000, Easton in £2000, and La Milo in £5000.
