OLD BOYS V. PHOENIX.
The above game was commenced on . No 1 wicke* at the Park on Saturday. Griffith won the toss and batted, but only seven Richmond players were' present and the innings closed in three, quarters of an hour for 44. Old Boys did badly, and wickets fell quickly, the eighth going at 65, when Moyes and Papps added 27 and the total reached 94, giving a lead of 50. The first three Phoenix wickets in the second innings fell for 15, and it looked as if the innings would be another procession, but Hunter and Webby put a different look on matters, and when the latter was caught a foot or two from his bat 50 runs had been added.
