WEATHER FORECAST.

Wellington, Feb 3. Tk« followina is the Rev. D. C. Bate's luminary and forecast: — A westerly area of low pressure is now passing south of New Plymouth and Napier, with strong northerly an! westerly winds and fair weather generally, though cloudy and showery conditions already prevail in the extreme south. The present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, with increasing northerly and westerly winds. The weather will probably continue fair for a short time in the north, though there are signs of a change coming soon. Cloudy, squally and showery weather is probable south of New Plymouth and Napier.
