E. ,cPHERSON & CO.

Messrs E. AlcPherson and Co. exhibit a very large line of machinery, especially that of British manufacture, from well known and reliable firms. Albion binders and mowers, manufactured by Alessrs Harrison and AlcGregor, Leigh, Lancashire, whose mowars and reapers have always been awarded the most important prizes in England and France, takci a prominent part this year on E. AlcPherson and Co's stand. These machines arc fitted with all tho latest improvements, and are a credit to their manufacturers. "Hornsby's," also "Ransome and Sims' " wellknown British manufactured ploughs, "Corbett" harrows, which is another good "reliable implement, and whioh farmers can rely upon for good vaule, and numerous other lines manufactured in the Mother Country, which should be a guarantee as to quality. These,, under the British flag, may be seen and approved. Farmers would do -well to realise that Great Britain is the market for their produce, and therefore they should use goods of British manufacture as much as possible. E. AlcPherson and Co. also exhibit a large number of twowheel short mould board and double furrow ploughs , horse hay rakes, "Ontario" drills, Samson windmills, an excellent display of Alyer's pumps, wool presses, disc harrows, churns, butter workers, separators, washing and sewing machines, mangles, phonographs, lawn mowers, gas generators, chomical fire engines, grindstones, wire strainers, staple pullers, mincing machines, knife grinders, machine oils, binder twine, axle grease, harness oil, and many small and exceptionally cheap lines. Air AlcPherson, the managing director, informs us that he regrets being unablei to exhibit Myers' improved large spray pumps, being completely sold out of this hue at present. 'Tho firm also exhibit a kerosene torch, the invention of Air Daniel Bum, of AVakofield, .which should prove a very useful contrivance for burning fern, blackberries, etc. Altogether E. AlcPherson and Co have an excellent display well worth inspection.
