FEATHER WEIGHT.
F. Wisby (Nelson) v. S. Lamb (Nolson. McGregor, who was drawn to meet Lamb, withdrew, and Wisby, who had secured a bye filled the vacancy. The full three rounds were boxed and Wisby, who was in better condition than Lamb, gained the verdict. Wisby did all the leading and was cleverer than his opponent. J. Allan (Nelson) v. A. Rowling (Riwaka) : Rowling was very aggressive and being tho stronger and heavier man rushed his man about and had him down more than once. Allan made a good recovery but Rowling was forcing him all the time and tlie referee gave Rowling the bout before the end of the third round. Allan was heartily applauded for his plucky showing. 'F. Webby (Nelson) v.E. Treweek ("Nelson) : This contest ended abruptly in the first round. Webby, who was much heavier and faster tha Treweek, knocked him out. LIGHTWEIGHTS, lOst. A. Allan (Nelson, Bs t 131 b) v. 0. Cederman (Riwaka, lOst 21b). Coderman was the taller man and did most of the leading, but Allan got a straight left home occasionally and showed good footwork, but the boxing was not of a high class order, the bout being characterised by frequent clinches, and the referee was heard more than once. Ccderman's weight and height pulled him through and he won, but Allan had not a few supporters who considered the verdict should have been tho other way. A. Hargreaves drew a bye and boxed three two minute rounds with M. Rogers.
