Lloyd's have received a detailed account from the captain, of the steamer Harlowe, with reference to the vessel he sighted and supposed to be the Waratah. Ho states that the vessel was sighted six miles off, smoking fiercely. Two explosions occurred with a few seconds between. The captain, only beard of the Waratah being missing a few days before ive arrived at Manila. Ho estimates that she lies in twenty fathoms of water between Cape Hermes and St John river.
