THE CHRISTCHURCH MURDER.
[United Press Association,] Christchurch, Oct. 27. The suspect Arthur. John Wilson Roberts appeared before Mr Bailey, S.M., this morning, charged with the murder of the girl Ethel Newman, at the Silver Grid boarding house on October 18th. By agreement the evidence taken at the inquest was read and resigned, except where objected to by Mr Hunter, counsel for the, accused. Roberts was committed for trial.
