WEATHER FOKEOAST.
Wellington, Oct. 27. The Rey. D. C. Bates' foreoast is as follows:— : . The barometer has risen eteadi]3' over the North Island, but there has been little movement in the South. .The weather has been changeable, .-with light and variable winds. The present indications are for mild and. fair weather generally, with mdderate to strong westerly winds northward of New Plyiritwth and Napier;, and. northerly generally - el sewhere. The barometer has a slight tendency to fall, both in the- extreme north and south, though the "general indications ai^e for little movement.
