Wellington, Oct 26. The Rev. D. C. Bates- forecast is as follows: — : _ . This evening's, reports show there has been little movement, of the barometer during the past 24 hours ;■ Moderately southerly winds have prevailed with cool and changeable, weather. The present conditions indicate moderate to strong south easterly winds, and a slowly rsing barometer iii the -North and easterly winds. In the South the weather will probably be unsettled and cloudy and on the whole cold -and damp about the East Cape. A westerly' disturbance is due in the ■ South? tomorrow, but it has not yet shown signs of development.
