He added that meanwhile some sort of negotiations were going on between the Anglicans and the Presbyterians.- The Anglican demand for an historic episcopate was unhistorical, unchristian and illogical, and it was perfectly impossible — merely an eclesiastical dodge to secure supi emacy. ■ .
