One of the many fashionable weddings of the week was notable. because' the bride possessed "seventeen names, all of which she inscribed on the register after the ceremony. The bride was Lyona Tollemanche, a cousin of Lord Dysart and the Countess -of Sudley, and her names are Lyona Decima Veronica Esyth Undine Syssa Hylda Rowena Viola Adel Thyra Ursula Ysabel Blanche Lo-. lias Dysart Plangtagenet. The bride's fattier gave each of his twelve children no less than twelve names each. One son of 13 names recently applied to the court to permit him to drop ten of his names, and retain three only.
