A RAILWAY ARBITRATION. [Press Association— Copyright.] Received April 4, 4.15 p. v m. London, April 3. Lord Crotner, arbitrating between, the Midland Railway. Company, and the employees, decided that' eleven hours should ; constitute the standard day ; overtime ; and Sunday work to pc paid at the rate of- time and ■ a quarter. Mr Richard Bell, M.P., secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, announced' that though the men had not got all they asked for, the concessions were very substantial.
