A NEWSPAPER CASE.

[United Press Association.] Napier, March 26. In the Supreme Court to-day, Mr Justice Edwards heard the argument in the case of J. A. Connell and Ed-' ward A. Slack, regarding the partnership in the "Wairoa Guardian" uewspaper. .His Honor said he would reserve judgment on the question . of damages in respect of which a claim was ,made by the plaintiff. He had already decided that a - partnership existed, and he would now declare the partnership dissolved as from the date of the sale of the property •by Mr Slack. The" plaintiff, would be allowed the costs of establishing the partnership as on the sum ]of £500. The costs of winding up would be a charge on the partnership account.
