Mr J. W. Tighe, who was for fifteen years principal of the Jubilee Institute for the blind in Auckland, .died suddenly from heart failure: at Arncliffe, > ew South Wales, the other day, aged "5i years. Mr C. Holdsworth, general manager of the Union ; Steamship Company, together with his family, . leaves for Europe in May (says the."New Zealand Times.") He expects to be away from New Zealand about nine months. Mdlle.
