A picturesque ceremony was performed at Marton-in-Cleveland, _the birthplace of Captain Cook, the ether day, when two flags, received from the Yorkshiremen's Society in New South Wales and the children of Botany, Australia, were hoisted at the Captain Cook Memorial School. Mr Herbert Samuel, M. P., chairman of the I London Committee for a national memorial to Captain Cook, delivered an address.
