W«llington-Naples despatch of mails of the sth February arrived in London on the morning of the 15th .inst. '.. . .■"■ .■" - '■■■ -- '.-'. .'.■'■;"■'. : At the Loyal 'Nejson Good Templar Lodge meeting on Wednesday evening there was a good attendance, Bro/ Mcars presiding: Six additions were made to the membership^ three coming from the .Juvenile Temple, having reached the age for promotion. Letters were read from Captain Fyler, also from Bro. Griffey, P.C.T.. (of the lodge on the same warship) expressing warm thanks and appreciation for" the £8 (the result' of ' a concert), recently sent towards their disaster fund. Captain Fyler' also expressed his .deep sympathy- for the people of Nelson, and the ' Dominion generally, regarding the wreck of the s.s. Penguin, and the deplorable loss of -life t>y that event. After the public were admitted into the -Lodge Room, a pleasing programme of songs, recitations, reading and pianoforte pieces was given. ; The Hons. Charles and William Douglas, two: :yisitors from Scotland,; arrived in Nelson yesterday morning, and will remain: in the district for about "ten days' deerstalking. :. Arrangements have been made by Messrs H. B. Walker and R. Catley, representing the'Nelse^. Ap}|matisatipn Society, to ,provide,them with._as much sport as possible .'during their- stay, and \ yesterday afternoon the visitors left for Belgrove- from whence, under the guidance of.
