INTER-STATE CRICKET AVERAGES.
The following are the figures of New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia in the season's inter-State cricket.
■ John William Phillips, of Liverpool, who trades as William Phillips and.Cd., was fined £50 at Aylesbury for soiling sawdust and sulphate of lime as cattle food without disclosing the ingredients. The mixture was originally manufactured for cleaning tin plate. It will be a bad year for everyone when preference -to unionists become - universally recognised and observed.
